Video Archive – The current state of lacquer arts and crafts.

Our last symposium and art exhibition was in Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2019.  The 2020 Program in Tokyo has been postponed until October, 2022 due to the pandemic. During this pause in our lives and in the Project’s programs, we are creating a video archive of the current state of lacquer arts and crafts in Southeast Asia. We are beginning with Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Then we will continue, Cambodia, Laos and Bhutan!
